CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY: There is a club by-law of catch & release only currently in operation.

Competition Rules:

(a) All senior competitions are currently being fished on a catch & release basis.

(b) Brown trout only count and are to be measured from tip of nose to centre of fork in tail (measures & score-sheets provided). Greatest total length of all fish caught wins.

(c) Fishing to be done only in time allocated for competition.

(d) All rubbish (waste tackle etc.) to be brought home by angler.

(e) Chest waders allowed but anglers must be very careful when wading as the river is dangerous with lots of slippery rocks and fast flows.

(f) The club committee has the right to call off competition in adverse conditions and have the final say over any breach of rules
