Macroom Trout Fly Anglers Rules
All anglers must possess a valid membership, club season pass or day permit before fishing. Permits must be carried at all times and presented upon request by club officials or fisheries officers.
Trout Season: March 2nd to October 12th
Only fly fishing is permitted on club waters. The use of worms, maggots, or other bait fishing methods is not allowed. Catch and release is encouraged to maintain healthy fish populations. Barbless or de-barbed hooks are recommended to minimise harm to fish.

Leave no trace: Dispose of litter responsibly. Respect wildlife and plant life along the riverbanks and fishing areas. Report any signs of pollution or poaching to the club or Inland Fisheries Ireland.
Anglers must respect other members and the general public. No excessive noise or disruptive behaviour near fishing spots. Any form of misconduct may result in suspension or expulsion from the club.
Breach of rules may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent exclusion from the club. Serious violations will be reported to local authorities or Inland Fisheries Ireland.
